Nursing Health Policy doctoral student, Ashley Moore (2021 cohort) has been selected as this years' UCGHI Student Ambassador.
This leadership opportunity was open to all students interested in becoming leaders in Women's Health, Gender and Empowerment by serving and representing their respective campus. Student Ambassadors will develop, implement and promote activities that address women’s health, gender, empowerment, campus-based sexual assault and dating violence through research, education, and community engagement.
The health policy specialty and the advanced public health nursing specialty will be merged into a new specialty, Health Policy and Public Health (HPPH). We will welcome the incoming cohort of Fall 2022 into this new specialty.
Rachel Wei is a current Health Policy MS student finishing her second year. Over the summer, she did her residency with the National Partnership for Women and Families. One of the reports Rachel worked on over the summer at her residency has just been published!
