Professor Emerita Carroll Estes, will receive the 2019-2020 Constantine Panunzio Distinguished Emeriti Award honoring emeriti professors in the UC system. A founding scholar in the field of “political economy of aging," and an Emerita of the Nursing Health Policy programfaculty, Estes has focused on improving the health and economic security of vulnerable and underserved populations.
