Dean Gilliss and the UCSF School of Nursing Faculty Council will recognize Dr. Ulrike Muench at the spring Full Faculty meeting as the recipient of the 2019 Excellence in Research Mentoring Teaching Award.  Her nominator spoke about her important contributions in a compelling fashion. Over the past few years Dr. Muench has supported students through a process of discovery that often seems mysterious to them. Dr. Muench reduced their fear and guides them into a new and important part of their professional life.
