The ten student finalists presented their research in an exciting live contest on Thursday, March 10 at 4 p.m. in Byers Auditorium at UCSF’s Mission Bay campus. California Assemblymember Kevin Mullin, who was recently named a "Life Science Champion" by the California Life Sciences Association, gave opening remarks.
UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood, Dean of the School of Medicine Talmadge King, celebrated science journalists Gabriela Quirós and Indre Viskontas, and director of the Bay Area Science Festival Kishore Hari decided this year's winner and runner-up. Read more about the judges.
