• Shannon Smith-Bernardin (PhD, 2016) has been selected as a recipient of the 2021-2022 UCSF Society of Hellman Fellows award.  Details about the Hellman Fund are here.
• Catherine Dodd (PhD, 2007) has been featured in the July 2021 Science of Caring magazine in an article titled, Influencing Change: Catherine Dodd
• Also featured in the July 2021 Science of Caring are Health Policy alumni, Chamroeunpal Chhean (MS, 2018) and Ashley Moore (MS, 2020) in an article, Preparing Future Nurse Leaders to Boldly Advocate for Health Policy
• Ulrike Muench, PhD, RN, FAAN, associate professor in Social Behavioral Sciences, and postdoctoral scholar Anna Oh, PhD, RN, MS, MPH, have been selected to join the 2021-2022 cohort of scholars in the Pilot and Exploratory Studies Program. The program is part of the UCSF Pepper Center, which identifies, supports and nurtures investigators who are working to expand aging research. Dr. Oh is an alum of the Nursing Health Policy docoral specialty at UCSF.
